Hungry Henry-Feed the Pup Game
The bones are placed into a bowl or box and the child has to choose one. They then complete the activity on the bone, whether it be to add a sum, say the sight word, decode the word using phonemic skills or one of the many other uses. If they get it right, they get to feed the dog the bone, if not, they miss a turn and get a gentle correction.
The game can be played with 1-6 players, adjusting the number of bones accordingly. The player who fed the dog the most bones win the game!
